What’s happening above?
On your first visit, the plugin displays a placeholder instead of loading Google Maps. Clicking “Load Google Maps” replaces the placeholder with the map. Your browser then connects to Google, which receives connection information such as your IP address. Please read the linked privacy policy before continuing.
Without a previously saved choice, loading a map without selecting “Remember selection” enables it only on the currently open page. The plugin does not set a consent cookie in this case. After a full page reload, another click is required.
If you select “Remember selection” before loading the map, your choice is saved in a cookie on this website for up to 180 days. Maps with this option enabled can then load automatically on later visits. Closing your browser does not automatically delete this saved choice.
You can reset your choice earlier using the button below. This deletes the plugin’s saved consent and unloads all plugin maps on the current page. These maps will require your permission again. Maps already open in other tabs are not unloaded, and resetting cannot undo information already sent to Google.
Reset controls are optional. Website owners can add a button directly below a loaded map or place a separate reset button anywhere in their page content. Neither option is added automatically.
